I’m glad you stepped in and had the help of some neighbors. I hate when any kind of animal is taken is and then abandoned. Lucky you were there!

Luckily I dont come across many abandoned animals, Gregg my cat who wast brought into Petco at a few days old was abandoned by his mother.
Honestly, he probably wasnt abandoned. The mom was probably going to come back for him, but we couldn't ask the lady to bring Gregg back were she found him.

So I volunteered to take him home. Bottle feeding him was a amazing experience, and he turned out to be the best cat I've ever had.
Besides Gregg, Downy and Fergus has been my first offcial rescue.

Our KC hen’s but points up and to her right 45 degrees. The drakes go after her first. Also she is the second best flyer in the flock. I think butt angles are genetic and nothing to worry about. As far as flying, she is the second best to the KC drake.
