I just used incandescent 60 watt bulb then I changed to 30 watt bulb. I tried to ask from Agrivet but they are not selling. Maybe in wholesale agrivet.

Thanks Mick, its very difficult to get anything here in Bohol and agrivet sell only feed, but yea i'll get there with help from you guys

Just buy an ordinary orange bulb at hardware around 50 watts "firefly" brand name Or for cheaper price choose omni brands from china, for chick and change it to 25 when they are 3 weeks old.

with my brooder design i run a 30 watt for 10 days 24 hrs a day.

then only at night until day 21

As my 15 brooders are always full, a 50 watt light is a lot compared to a 30

the difference in a month s 2400 pesos on my elec bill.

I am no expert in chicken breeds, but maybe those are f1 chickens. Try to ask the breeders of those chickens.
