Yep, my husband was out of town for the first night so I put them in. When I talked to him the next night, he asked me how many I had to put to "bed" and all of them had gone in. I believe his exact words were "I'm so proud of them!" hahahahaha

I suppose you know that chicken wire on the bottom isn't predator proof? Raccoons can reach into that and snatch off a neck, leg, wing, whatever is within reach. I would consider using 1/2 x 1/2" welded wire to prevent many kinds of predators. The coop is beautifully designed and the height off the ground will save your back! Mine is up high also and it's a joy to work with because I don't have to hurt my back cleaning it.

The ramp lifts up and locks in place so nothing can get into the top portion.
