Who would name their chickens Giblets and Gravy? 😲 🤣
I know someone that named their pig "Pork Chop" and their Longhorn Bull "T-Bone"
Those names did make people chuckle, & they were definitely well loved pets.

I named most of my chickens after types of flowers or based on personality or unique colors.

To each their own.

My friend's dad named some of their chickens Grilled, Fried, and Barbecue. The funny thing is, they never ate their chickens.

Hey, girls can be leaders too! How is he feathering out compared to the others? Legs thicker or not?

I've only had one accidental cockerel, knew he wasn't a pullet at 3 weeks. Had to wait until 11 weeks to tell Meyer they owed me a "90% guarantee" refund.
Me too. My BJG crowed for the 1st time today. He was one of 7 female day-olds bought from Meyer on 4/4/2022.
Can't ask for a refund because they already refunded him. He had spraddle leg when I first got him. Made a splint from a YouTube video and he made a full recovery.

Their favorite spot. Under the willow.

I know, the photos are supposed to be landscape. But I had to hold the phone just right to get a photo at all through the carrier bars.

Good-bye Ludwig, 1yo Black Langshan rooster. He's on his way to a new home with a starter flock of 4 girls of various ages.

I hope the new girls appreciate that good looking guy!
