I understand why you'd have the new duck friends. I'd Fly in also...but you are still a tad cold for my sub tropical bones.

Not seen them again since!

I hope Big Bertha remains the top hen. Maybe Bella can help her mom out if she needs some back up. Your pictures are truely amazing. My ducks and chickens wouldn't know how to act with all that grass. All we have is mud. I might have to block the ducks in the back yard so we can grow some grass. We've planted grass seed but they either eat it or trample it down.

Lacey's pictures are so cute. I think she likes getting her picture taken she is so photogenic. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Big Bertha isn't the top hen, shes like 4th from the top. Top hen is PL who is a 6 year old ex battery hen. Wanting her to stay the top tho as she's lovely. Will be really mad if she gets dethroned. And I can understand why you find it hard to keep grass, especially with ducks! As you can see on the pics even I can't keep it all grass. Mine does usually recover in the Summer though. And yeah, Lacey seems to love to perform for the phone!

Gorgeous pictures. We got some snow to this morning. I hope Pl stays the top hen then I thought Big Bertha was the top with that attitude look she always has.

Does Daffy and Lacey sleep in the coop with the chickens? She always seems to be strolling out with the chickens in the mornings. That little smile she always has on her face I know she is happy to see you. She's precious.

Is that a trout runner in the first pic? I'm going to guess he's a boy he sure is handsome. Do you ever enter your ducks and chickens in shows?

Thank you! So do I! She had a scrap with the two that she had unfinished business with on Monday and won. I thought she would easily have the others, but the two big ones out of the new girls ganged up on her and have done her face in worse than the last time. Again, not sure who's come out on top, but looks like unfinished business again. Treating her with meds. She usually avoids them until she's recovered and ready to fight again. I just want to make sure I'm there next time as I usually help her a bit if she's loosing! Yeah, they do sleep with the hens on a night. The big ducks don't, they just run around the field all night. And yeah, SHE is a Trout runner haha! I won't tell poor Josie you think she's a boy! The male version of her is Jeremy who has the green head. And no I don't enter them into shows .

Lacey must be getting a facial mud pack. She doesn't need to get anymore beautiful then what she is. Daffy in the little bowl that is to cute. I would love to see pics of their babies. I understand you would want to keep them all.

Josie I am so sorry you are gorgeous. I love your markings.

Oefay must be one tuff hen. She is so small compared to Coco and she's above her on the pecking order.
