Went to see the little cockerels earlier on before the snow got bad

Bad news im afraid . Went up the the hens this morning and something has robbed Lacey duck of all her eggs. I think she's been mobbed by crows

This months calendar picture. As if it's nearly been a year... R.I.P little duck!

Well I've been to feed the dumped cockerels again tonight. Really couldn't be bothered to go all that way as I've been at work for the past 4 nights and then this morning and only finished at 4. I then had to go sort my hens out and I had no fuel either. But none of that mattered when I pulled up and saw them come running to the car, seeing how happy they were to be fed put me back in a good mood

I'm so tempted to take this little boy from the woods and keep him for myself. I'm just really scared incase Roger hates him and the hens hate him, worried incase he turns aggressive or over mates the hens like my last cockerel does. I've been put right off cockerels since Henry the cockerel. I just don't know if I dare risk the peace in my flock again.

Got myself a little helper (my niece)! She loved watching Lacey duck fly in! (Third pic)

I am so happy that Lacey is ok. I've been worried about her. I didn't know she could fly. That's a great pic of her flying across the field.

Your little niece is a cutie. She is going to grow up being a chicken keeper like you.

Bless your heart for feeding the stray roo's. I know how you feel about peace in the coop. You like to keep it that way.
