Pigeons and watering cups

Has anyone successfully used automatic watering cups with pigeons? My quail have no issues learning to use them but I know pigeons drink differently than other poultry. Would the auto watering cup I have work for pigeons? I'm considering getting a breeding pair.

Has anyone successfully used automatic watering cups with pigeons?

I personally never used cups (I use the old gravity bottle type water I change daily). I do not know of any fancier that employs them currently either for that matter. I am sure however they would work just fine.
Pigeons are one of the Einsteins of the bird world (the deeper the cup the better in their case).
