Pine Shavings Safe?

I know this is a poultry specific forum, but I just thought I'd ask

Are pine shavings safe to use as goat barn bedding?
I understand that cedar shavings are bad for any livestock/pet, since they can cause respiratory problems, and other issues.

My goats like to nibble on the fresh straw I bed down their barn with, so I was concerned that if my goats nibble on the pine shavings they will get sick.

I used pine shavings for my goat and she lived to a ripe old age!

She absolutely adored ramming the bags of shavings too, like it was totally her jam!

My favorite bedding for my goats was shavings topped with straw. Yes, shavings are safe. I used shavings for goats, cows, horses, and poultry.
