So sorry to hear about your baby. My husband and I are new to the backyard chicken world too and recently lost one of ours to cocci and almost another. It is so amazing how quickly these little beauties get into your heart! I hope that the rest of your girls recover and will remember you and your lost one today!

Thank you so much for the kind words. My children dont now know yet, I didnt want to tell them before they got on the bus. We will be having a proper burial after hubby gets off of work. I know my 4 children will be very sad.
