Please help!! Red faces

Is it normal for my RIR pullets to get red faces as they get bigger? I noticed it a little on my other ones but this one is fully red. One photo shows another RIR perching on the right with less red face. Am I overreacting? Could she be a roo or is her skin irritated and there is something I can do to help?

It looks fine to me. It could just be part of the growth process. Do you own other chickens of that breed? If so, do they have the same redish look to them?

I agree, looks normal!

It can be a sign of maturity (hormones will vary some) or even temperature flushing due to activity level.. They'll all pink up and red up as they get closer to laying.

I don't see any suspect cockerels in those pics. What is their current age?

Their faces get red when stressed, I think that’s what’s happening.

She was said to be a Black Star but I’m not sure how accurate the breeding was, they all wound up looking a little different. This is what she looks like now-
