Hello! I have 11 bym mix chicks between 5-6 weeks old. These chicks I'm curious on, can't quite figure out gender yet (I know it might be too early to get a conclusive answer, but I'm curious!). Parents are from a breeder and a a possible mix of french marans (black, blue, lavender, and chocolates), Barred rock, BBS and white Bresse, Orpington (chocolate, chocolate laced, crele, and isabel's), Svart Hona, Russian Orloff, Ameraucana, Salmon Faverolles, and Mosaics.
If you have any idea what breeds they likely came from I'd love to hear as well!
Bird 1 - Barred rock mix, I'm thinking cockerel?
Bird 2 - Possible Svart Hona or Mosaic cross from the fibro skin? I was hoping pullet, but i'm struggling with the fibro skin.
Bird 3 - no idea what mix, cuckoo feathering?? Feathered really fast, got a fairly full tail in around 3 weeks. I'm thinking pullet?
Bird 4 - Straight black feathers, but smaller than the other birds with a ridiculously long tail compared to others so far, lol. I was thinking pullet?
Bird 5 - Ameraucana mix, I'm leaning toward cockerel? Likes to start tussles in the coop.
Bird 6 - Likely marans mix since he has the feathered feet, also my first bird to get a pink/reddish comb. I'm thinking cockerel?
