I have four chicks that I purchased at a local co-op that were from a hatchery. I need to know if they are boys or girls because I have until the end of the weekend to switch any out that I need to. My housing addition does not allow roosters - at all.

I have 4 chicks.
Astrolorpe - Originally was taller and had bigger legs than the rest, although that has evened out a little bit. His/her comb has been prominent since week two, although it is still yellow. Wattles (red) are beginning to grow. He is constantly in front, and although not aggressive, is definitely the leader. (Pics 1-3)

Silver-Laced Wyandotte - This one is the 2nd most prominent as far as personality. He/she has red wattles and a red rose comb that has been that way since week 3. Leg thickness is on the small side. (Pics 4-5)

Easter Egger - This one I truly hope is a girl, as she is my favorite. It does concern me that her legs are a little bit large (almost Austrolourpe big). There is no wattle growth and I do not see any comb growth either. Super timid and very sweet. (Pics 6-7)

Rhode Island blue - This one I am fairly sure is a girl. She has the smallest legs out of anyone and is rather timid as well, though not as sweet as my Easter egger. She has a tiny black comb and no wattle growth. (Pics 8-9)

I say the wyandotte is a cockerel and the other three are pullets. And I hope you have the same luck I did. My silver laced wyandotte rooster was my favorite rooster I have ever had. He was gorgeous, gentle, talked ALL the time to the hens, and gave them all his treats. He never showed an ounce of aggression towards people, and he died running full speed into battle with a bobcat. Great roo.

If I could train him not to crow he could stay. I have heard that is impossible. 😕
