I hatched these strange looking barred rock mixes out of green eggs and really want pullets, but I'm guessing I got more than a few roosters. They are about 20-22 weeks old
these 2 pictures are the same chicken and boy is it a strange looking one

so why does one have big waddles? these 3 are the same three chickens

these next 2 is the same chicken

I am wondering about the one in the middle with the red comb? I bought these EE and they are about 19 weeks old. I have no idea what a rooster of these would look like.

All the barred ones look like roo's. I can never tell about the EE's!

I do not know much about sexing, but I just wanted to say That last picture is cute how the chicks are sitting and standing in order. did you "pose" them???

Are the EE's 19 weeks or 9 weeks? I *think* the EE's are all pullets, but a better picture would help there. Sorry, but at least two of the barred ones are roos and probably (not completely sure) the third one as well.

Though our RIR has a comb to match theirs, I would say the BRs are roosters. No clue on the EE.

no they posed all on their own. Its a little cloudy and chilly here in az today so they are trying to stay warm.
