Yep of the babies were born with a black
Dot on the center of their head….

Barred chicks hatch black with white dots. Black dots on head don't mean barred

Didn't realize the computer auto corrected wing to ring... lol.. It will be interesting to see what happens. I've hatched out other buff chicks and white chicks, but this will obviously be my first cross.. It will be fun to see what happens as them mature. I'll try to remember to post pictures as they feather out. Thanks everyone!

Barred rock chicks are mostly black, with some lighter greys thrown in. But three of yours do look different.

Definitely don’t look like barred rock to me. I think they look more like Columbian Rock Chicks
