I’ve heard and seen people sexing polish by their crest at a day or two old. I’ve personally have wanted to get hatching eggs and see if that way of sexing is true. If i went by that way of sexing, A, B and D are pullets. Otherwise, for a better estimate, post again in 6 weeks like nuthatched said. I’d love to see if this way of sexing is accurate.

Yes it’s too early yet to know so as said please repost in 6 weeks. Even then it might still be too early to know for sure.

Crest can help with identifying sex when older but I’ve found the shape of chicks heads does not accurately sex them.

Thank you, that’s what I heard too. I actually am going to dna sexing but I too heard about the crest in the first couple days so thought it would be fun to see. One person said they had a 94% success rate. I was thinking A an D pullets. C roo and B wasn’t sure…… thanks again
