I've asked about this in one Facebook group, but just wanted to ask again from a wider audience.

I have 8 weeks old silver- and golden laced polish chickens, and I bought them 1-day old, sexed to be pullets.

But I have my doubts...

first, as a baby:

as a youngster...

...and now:

Looking forward to hear your opinions. These are my first Polish chickens.

I too agree, a pullet and a cockerel. Polish are difficult to sex and I would not even hazard a guess on any of mine until they are at least 8-12 weeks of age. Even then they can prove you wrong.

Lovely little birds you have there, good luck with them.

Thank you everyone! Oh dang... I'm still hoping that my silver-laced "girl" is going to survive from her Bad Hair Day, and turn into a lady. :D

I know, he is probably a cockerel, but I just have to be sure first. Crowing roosters are illegal at our neighborhood, so I might have to try no-crow collar with him or re-home him, if he is a boy. Sniff... :*(
