So I may just be over anxious being a new duck mom, but I’ve had my girl (almost 2 weeks old) for 4-5 days now, and today she started pooping straight water, and then it was water with a tiny slight soft brown poo in it, then it turned to this??? They had strawberries and tomatoes today, so I’m HOPING that she’s just drinking too much water, and the red poo is coloured due to her food. My male on the other hand, eats all the same things, and has normal poops. Pics below of the problem poops.

Why the straight water poops?? And does anyone have any insight on why she’s pooping like this?? And why my male is not.

What feed are you feeding and how many "snacks" (anything other than feed) do your ducks get in a day? Also are you providing grit? As far as the color of the poop both strawberries and tomatoes can both change the color of a ducks poop.

Ducks, well my ducks, drink water ++++ and in the morning when I let them out of the coop their poops are very watery. Although they have food available at night they seem to eat it quickly and then continue with just water all night. For what it is worth, the watery poops are white. Mine are on duck pellets now and that makes their poop a dark liquid chocolate color. during the day when they free range, they often drink less and get formed poops like in your photo but mine are green not red. So, don't worry, Duck poop reflects their diet and water consumption!
