Possibly Egg Bound. Unsure. Please help.

She's broody. Broody hens don't lay eggs. They just sit. They barely eat. They only poo once or twice a day, and when they do, it's huge and very smelly.

So she will be ok? I'm just super worried about her. I've never seen a chicken act like this.

If you aren't planning on letting her hatch chicks, I suggest breaking her from brooding. An elevated wire cage without any bedding works every time.

Well I'm in Missouri and it isn't a great time to hatch chicks but it wouldn't matter to me either way lol.

Agree with junebuggena, your choice. If I were you I would let her hatch but it's your choice, and if it's not a great time maybe wait and hope she goes broody again if you want chicks.

I wouldn't keep her on that heating pad, She doesn't look sick or anything, Broody would seem to be the best option. LOL, She just wants to be a mommy..
