So, I am planning my breeding pens for spring, and I think I'll breed the longer tailed cockerel to a polish hen and also a legbar to work on the long hackled polish longtail type birds, and also to start a line of crele againI was out feeding this morning and snagged a few pics of the cockerels. My old phone has a bad camera but you get the point. The golden in the pic (shorter tailed) has a really nice butter colored hackle but it looks washed out here.The lighter male with longer tail is really the only bird with his saddles still in pins, the others have all hardened off.
Looks like a silver duckwing yokohoma to me...Thats the way they look if it's from a hatchery...TM
