Poults of 2023

Sadly, little Pink is no longer with us. I tried everything, but could not save her/him. When weighing Green today, it passed a foamy cecal poop, which is not noral, so I will treat is for coccidiosis with Baycox (toltrazuril).

How are yours doing?
So far no more losses after I lost the initial 2. I seem to have a handle on the blackhead so now I just have to hold it at bay and keep an eye open for signs of it in the future. I have the 10 older Sweetgrass and 2 Narragansetts left outside, then I have 2 month olds (royal palm and tri colored mottled slate) and 2 babies in the brooder building (1 Sweetgrass and 1 royal palm). I will keep the younger ones off the ground as long as I possibly can since there is just 4 of them. They have been back to displaying and the jakes have been gobbling. They are a pleasure to own.
