Hi everyone! We recently started our own flock of backyard chickens. We have a mixed flock and up to this point I believe we have all hens with the exception of these 2 9 week old PBB chicks. We have looked up every way to tell if they are pullets or roos and honestly, I am still as confused. Any help sorting it out would be greatly appreciated. Also, I am sorry for picture qualities on PBB 2, he/she was rather uncooperative.

I think they are pullets but I would get another opinion.

Both are pullets.. according to comb and wattles size and color development. *Most* boys will plumped up and fairly reddening by about 8 weeks in this department.

Gender specific (round or pointy) saddle feathers are a couple weeks out still.
