my coop is too small to just hang out in, but there would always be a hen or 2 sitting on eggs.. My Apple got attacked 2 weeks ago, by a large hound dog.. she lost her tail and bum feathers.. and now none of my girls like to be separated from the flock.. all 9 cling close together at all times.. they had stopped laying and just yesterday i got 7 eggs.. so they are getting back to normal.. and my sweet Crab Apple is healing up well..
