I posted pics of her and the other ones for you. She was tan, even as a chick not blue like yours, and the blue ones I have are darker. I think your chicks are going to be lovely, probably a light blue or even maybe a dark splash. They should have some blue Cuckoo markings as the dad would pass that along to the babies.

Backround of the Bird: Sonny came to us as dinner- yes, dinner. But when he arrived my mother and grandmother refused to cook, let alone eat him. They would have disowned me if I had even thought about culling him. He was supposed to go back to my brother's the next week. A year later, he's still here and a very important part of our family now. I would be DEVISTATED if something happened to him!
