Hi everyone,
What a wonderful site this is! My name is Katie and I live in Lakeville, MA. My family had chickens when I was growing up, and I have to say that there are a lot of great new gadgets out there that make raising chickens much easier than I remember! After 30 years, here I am back in my hometown, raising chickens again.
We currently have seven chicks in our brooder: 2 BOs, 2 RIRs, 2 BRs and one Dominique. They are three weeks old and are getting to be quite a handful. I have a six year old son who just loves them all, and I look forward to teaching him the joys of, and work involved with, raising hens. I look forward to reading as much as I can on this site.
