Proper way to hold?

I've got a youtube video on how to pick up a chicken.

Don't hold chickens upside down or do that hypnotizing trick! A stressed chicken will play dead (if you've ever seen a chicken in a dog's mouth, you'll know what I mean!) Just because a chicken looks limp and relaxed doesn't mean that they are enjoying themselves. I know you're not doing that, but people do, and I put in my 2¢ worth when I have the chance.

There's various ways to "hypnotize" a chicken. The Martha Stewart website has a video. She does it by swinging the hen through the air and then tucking it's head around.
