I thought I had bought all pullets but one of the chicks has grown a large comb and it is read. None of the other chicks have a comb anywhere like this. It is also bossy. I would like to have gotten a cockerel. I’m posting pics of the one with the comb and some of the others. Also I’ve noticed it’s tail feathers point up more and the rest point down??? I would be so grateful if experts can help me. I am still a newbie
Pic 1 is one without comb, 2cnd one is the only one with larger red comb, 3rd pic is another pic of the one with the red comb

I will take a pic later with the heat lamp off. She/he has a red comb that started out pink. It’s the only one with a a noticeable comb. I will be happy if I have a cockerel for my flock. I had a Rooster that was so handsome

Agreed! Will be easier to tell each individual bird in natural lighting though.😊
I took pics without heat lamp. The third pic is some of the other chicks , 1,2,4 is my possible cockerel. What do you think I’m hoping it’s a he. Thank you for your help.

Can you tell what breed, I got 4 sapphire gems, 2 black Americana, 1 Isa brown and 1golden comet. He looks like one of the Americana or one the sapphire gems. What do anyone think. Thanks everyone for your help
He is not a sapphire gem. He may be an Easter Egger, commonly called americana and other names by hatcheries. His comb is not typical for one, but there are different varieties of Easter Eggers which are essentially mixed breeds.😊
