Here's a better picture I got outside today of the bird in question. About 8 weeks old, breed unknown.

If from a hatchery/feed store source then possibly red/gold sex link female.

Do you know the source of the chicks?
From a mixed batch at rural king labeled "egg layers", somehow several shipments got mixed together and so they sold them all for $1 each because they didn't know either

I'll go ahead and stand by my original thought then. Definitely a hybrid. Very common look for the gold (red) sex linked pullets. ISA brown, Golden Comet, Golden Buff, Cinnamon Queens, Red star, etc..

Discerning which cross is a bit harder.. if you know which hatchery your RK orders from can help determine possible hybrid further by what they have on offer.
