Pullets comb was pecked and is now turning black

My pullet had a comb injury that I found bleeding which I assumed was pecked. I cleaned it and it was looking better but now the tips of her comp are black/grey where the injury was. Is this normal, and will it heal on its own?

Yes, that will eventually heal. Is she being bullied by her flock or by a particular chicken?

I haven't seen her bullied anymore.I picked up some older hens that were chasing her flock. But it seems like they established the pecking order I guess. Should I keep her separated, or just keep an eye on her?

It probably happened when they were roosting for the night. So watch her during that time. You might need to rearrange the chickens on the roost.

Game cams are nice, but you can always spend some time with them at roost time and when they wake up.
