Pullets or Cockerels?

Hello!
I am looking for help sexing these two 4 week old youngsters. These two are the most bold/friendly of the bunch and I'm curious if they might be roos. The brown is a golden maran and the black is a partridge Cochin. Thank you!

I think that the first bird is a cockerel, is it two pictures of the same bird? That's a big red comb for that age.

The first three pictures are the Cochin and the other three are the maran. The Cochin definitely has a bigger comb than everyone else! Is coloring not very specific for gender in this breed?

Chicks take time to develop sex specific coloring. Look at partridge colored chicks, in breed club photos, or on feathersite.

I'd put a bet on the cochin being a cockerel - If he's showing this much red and wattle already- bet there won't be any guesswork on him in the next two weeks!

As for the Maran... I suffer from 'sneaky cockerel bias' with them as chicks. They just tend to all look a bit suspect to me.
