Pullets???

Hi! I have these two 9 week old pullets...I think and was checking in to see what the rest of you think. One is an EE the other is a buff brahma. Do we look like pullets to you?

The EE is definitely a pullet.

My first impression is the Brahma is a pullet also, but there's enough of a triple row to the comb to give me pause. Can we get a good tight comb shot?

Probably a pullet. Even with a Brahma, I'd expect more red at this age.

It's just wonky shaped, and there seems to be a lot more width than female pea combed birds normally have. I'd watch for the comb to plump up and redden, or for it to get darker color shading on the wings. Those would be signs you have a late developing cockerel. I'm leaning toward female at this point, but not 100%.

can you repost in a month or so and let us see how things look then?
