I think you can put quail eggs under a chicken but what type of chicken is suitable for this ??

I've just been researching this myself and read that bantam silkies were really good brooders and did a good job sitting and brooding quail. I thought I would like to try it myself.

There is a Youtube user living in France who did the very thing you're curious about with great success & shared her video for all of us to see. Her username is Pavolafowl if you want to check her out.

Imo, I've heard silkies are good for this as they're smaller/lighter & great broody mothers. You'll want a good mother hen whose already had a batch of her own - the extra experience is generally needed.

Best of luck!

unfortunately i dont have anty bantams/small chickens, but be possible to do it with somethng bigger Welsummer/Maran, or shall i equirsomething small

It is in the quail forum....It said not to raise your quail by your chickens because chickens carry something that is harmful to quail.
