QUECHUA /Tojuda/ Ameraucana/ Easter Eggers{ In vino veritas

Yes, but if they come out clean faced, they should be selected for the winter face trait.
Of all the BQO I have ever hatched, they have all had beards. That shows Yashar did some fantastic selection before I ever got my hands on them.

A BQO chick . They for the most part hatch with black skin as do the Huastecs

Are you selling hatching eggs? I'd be interested in any of the South American breeds or types.

This is my 2016 breeding stock of Black Quechua Olmec.

Gorgeous birds! I love the looks of the bearded/muffed LF like the Barthuhner, Russian Orloff, Ameraucana (I have a Blue Wheaten) and the EE but we've been disappointed in the production of these birds - sporadic to non-laying their 2nd year. How do the Quechua/Olmec lay - or are they more for ornamental purpose?

They aren't production layers, however they lay longer into life than production birds. I have some reasonably old birds that still lay pretty well every spring.
