Question about why my chickens are pecking my turkeys vent

Hello, My girlfriend and I are new to owning birds. But just the other day we noticed that the chickens have been pecking the vent of our turkey. Then we woke up to the turkeys vent all pecked and bleeding. We cleaned the area and it is looking better but the area around the wound is a blueish tint.

How and what is going on?

I hope someone can help

The blue might be bruising.
How much space do they have?
Diet? Other turkeys?
Turkeys really shouldn't be kept with chicken since chickens are little typhoid marys for turkeys.
