I have a few questions about the American Buff. I see a lot of conflicting information when it comes to their weight. The Metzer Farms say their American Buffs weight 16-18lbs for ganders. Several other websites say they are in that weight range. Then all my books and a lot of websites say they weigh between 22-28lbs for ganders. I am starting to wondering now if there is 2 strains of American Buffs, some that are huge and others that don't weigh more then 18lbs. So what is their true weight for ganders, are they up to 28lbs or 18lbs. It is pretty confusing?
