Rain and snow issue...please help

This summer we finally had a roof installed (not by me!) over the run, so here it is then, before site cleanup, and before winterizing with the plastic. The low wall is north, and the screened walls are south and east.

I use 6 ml plastic sheeting. I just staple it up and allow a 4 inch gap at one side. These pix were taken during our worst winter 2 winters ago. Anything that blocks the wind will keep them warmer.

This looks like it held up really well...this is definitely what I need to do!!
 
We zip tie polycarbonate corrugated panels on the windward side and the lower half of the run during the winter to shield the rain and snow.

 
Luvmychix2014...I would advise that you create more ventilation high up in your coop. Frostbite is caused by moisture that freezes on combs and waddles. Read the article on ventalation on BYC.
