I did not build my coop yet but I will. When I lived in IA, I ordered Gold Star chicks from Hoover Hatchery which are advertised to be extremely docile and they were! They were awesome, so now since I moved to NC, I still wanted to order the same kind. They're laying hens, red sex linked. Minimum order quantity is 25, I'd like to split them with someone equally. The actual cost for half of them is $30. I ordered them to arrive on 4-9-10 so plenty of time to get ready.
