I don't know if this has been done before, but it seems like it could work. This is a thread for community members who have experienced a loss in the flock. It is my hope that we can come together and offer support and special attention to our friends who have lost their beloved birds and help them get going again. Maybe some of us who are only selling eggs or chicks locally could consider making a special exception and sending a carefully packed shipment. Maybe some of us who don't sell could consider making an exception. Maybe we could even save one or two roos or layers from the freezer and let them start a new life on a new farm.
