Recommendations for a good, solid coop

We just recently moved to a new home. We chose not to take our coop with us because it would've been too difficult to move. Not having much luck shopping online for one. Many have bad reviews due to cheap materials or they just look too small. We are not super handy and don't have the tools (saws) to build a good one ourselves. Anyone out there purchase a prefab coop that they are pleased with? We only have 5 hens and need one that can withstand lots of snow and cold weather.

Thanks in advance!

We looked for months for a quality prefab coop. Short of getting the Amish built coop for $1500 the rest of them seemed quite shoddy. We wound up designing and building or own. I'll be interested in what folks can recommend for you. Best of luck!

You won't find a prefab that will hold up very long in those conditions. Also ventilation is lacking in most prefabs. You would be better off getting a shed and making it a coop, if you don't think you could build something.

If a shed why not a used enclosed trailer? CL has them cheep some times and it can come with you if you ever move again or if you just want to move it around the yard. Just needs ventilation and optionally a chicken door the same as a shed.
