Hi i'm Almond goose and I was going to get some ducks and I was wondering what breed would be nice i'm looking for a nice friendly calm duck and this duck will also be shown at a small county fair. I would prefer no meat duck breeds please

Have you looked through the Duck Breed Focus? It's in blue letters near the top of the Duck Forum index, and we have threads about a number of different breeds there.

I would also like to suggest the metzer farms duck breed comparison. How many do you intend to purchase. Also are there any other qualities: conservation status or breed history, perhaps?
