Recycled truck canopy as shelter for grow out pen?

I found a few posts from 2009 on using truck canopies for chicken coops. But NO pics!

I have an old one and would like to use it for a shelter in one of my grow out pens, late spring, summer and early fall use only (in WA, where we get snow and rain, a lot of rain

)! Has anyone had issues with rain runoff? I am a visual person so I need photos! Measurements and stuff are good too, I can draw things out. I have ideas for roosts and side walls on two sides but need more ideas about getting it 4-5 feet off the ground, stable, and fencing. Any help designs or plans would be helpful, thanks.

I have a shell sitting in my yard too. Had great plans to make it into a coop... then someone gave me a shed.
So - who knows - maybe it will become part of the run????

O.k., we started our grow out pen on July 4th. Here is the start we made. Got a few more boards up tonight. Hope to work on it again Sunday afternoon.









Once we got this much in my brother's friend said we should have built a frame and put it on skids

, chicken tractor like. Sounds o.k., but this will still be moveable!

The canopy will only be bolted on
