Red sex link or cinnamon queen

Is there a difference between a red sex link and a cinnamon queen? If you breed each with their respective mate, will the offspring be sex linked?

Cinnamon Queens are a form of Red Sex-Link, so yes, they are the same thing. If you breed two sex-links together, the offspring will not be sex-linked-- if you want sex-linked chicks, you have to start with the two pure breeds used to create them (in the case of Red Sex-links, a Rhode Island or New Hampshire Red rooster and a White Rock hen).

rule of thumb, you can't use a sex link to make a sex link.

And only if the White Rock has the proper Silver White genetics.

Safer to use a known silver bird as the female.
