My 4/5 week cochin has been sneezing on a regular basis and sometimes breathing with his mouth open. He has no discharge but sneezes with mucus, or some sort of liquid. I am quite worried as it might be a sign of respiratory infection. Any advice?

It might be the start of a respiratory disease but I'd first take a look and see if there's something in the environment causing the symptoms you're seeing.
For example; ammonia fumes from soiled bedding, improper ventilation in the coop, pollen, pesticide use, smoke, inhalation of a feed granule that mightve worked its way into a sinus cavity (I've had that happen in one of my birds,) inhalation of dust while dust bathing and so on.
