I have 4 Welsh Harlequins, 3 ladies, 1 drake. The drake only mates with one of the ladies and they all lay in the same nest. One has gone broody and I’d like her to hatch a duck and only one egg looks fertile out of the 9 she’s sitting on. Will I risk her abandoning the nest if I take out all but one egg? Or could I replace them with wooden eggs for her peace of mind?
