Rescue chickens special needs

I just got some rescue chickens and I am wondering if anyone has rescue chickens and know if they have special needs and how to deal with their needs. For example, they have half a beak. I know they can eat but is there anything else I should give them. They were in battery cages for over 2 years.

I have a rooster that has a very short top beak. I used to trim the bottom one but decided to see how he did. I make sure the feed bowl has feed deeper than for the others so he can poke his beak in further to get ahold of the feed. He is managing quite well.
