Hi there. My hen randomly got this eye swelling. I put 3 chicks under her about 6 weeks ago to my knowledge they were clean and no signs of any illness as of yet.
She is the only chicken in the flock with this. I’ve removed her and applied terramycin for 2 days now. May have gotten something from water free ranging or perhaps from muggy conditions and the coop? But again, she’s the only one.
What could this be? Do I ride it out and put her back when she get better? Or do I play it safe and cull? She has a swollen eye and sneezes here and there but no wheezing or coughing or open mouth breathing. I’m stumped. Mostly just the left eye.
Any advice welcome.
