Returning chicken owner

I took a 3 year break from my favorite little chickie loves due to coyotes and fox issues. Where they killed my last flock and left my family heart broken. So now that we have eliminated the coyotes and fox
situation, refortified my coop and added some new features. We have started our flock again. Consisting of Cochins and barred rocks. I am a little scared because I get so attached. But I so enjoy watching the chickens.

I am glad you have fortified your coop as most losses are at night when chickens are most vunerable.
Iradicateed all the fox and coyotes in your area, i would be skeptical of that.

Sometimes with bigger predators coyotes, etc. you need to really mean business.
Often that means a perimeter of electrified fencing.
