Comb development, also feather patterns.Just wondering, what are the give-aways?
At that age, his comb is way too big and red. He's definitely a cockerel. But it seems like Lana (or maybe Lamar, Lance, Langley...) has a small pea comb.
That's more of an individual thing I'd say.All of the chickens seem to have rather narrow neck feathers. Could that just be a thing with this breed?
Yes, this was mine at 12 weeks old.So EE pullets would still a have pale comb at 10 weeks old?
I hope that's not the case!If we're lucky, we have 4 roosters and 4 pullets
EE are one of the hardest to ID. Right when you think you have a pullet, bam... it crows. If we're lucky, we have 4 roosters and 4 pullets If they were only like squirrels or ducks and just paired off...
