Just got a new roo. I know most my hens havent reached maturity yet. But the new roo keeps trying to mate my broody hen who has 7 days left till hatch date. Gets in the box with her. I know if its not careful he could break eggs. Im more concerned she keeps getting off eggs. She goes back. I grabbed him up and put him near the hen I got him for. Has anyone had experience with this?
