Roo or pullet?

I don't see anything rooster-ish about that first bird. I say keep calling her Rosie and she'll reward you with eggs in a few months. She's some type of Polish mix, I think.

Oh I definitely hope so! I've never tried fresh eggs

It does! Thanks, I've never heard that one before. The feather pattern and crest of the brabanter does remind me of Rosie

I'm thinking a polish mix also  and  pullet , a beautiful girl.

Polishes have such beautifully hilarious crests. I can see polish in her as well!

It depends on its age and breed mix. Is it a pure Buff Brahma, a cochin mix, or a D'uccle mix?
