Hi, I have a concerning question about my rooster. So I have a 1 year old Salmon Faverolle rooster and he has just destroyed my hens backs. I have another rooster that is great with my hens but I have over 19 so I need to keep another rooster. I thought maybe because he had just matured that he was doing that but now I see he’s not changing. I think I have more than enough hens for both but he is out of control. I think he’s quite different in looks so I wanted to keep him but my grandma will always be happy to have a rooster dinner. So I don’t know if I should just give him to her or what to do with him. Please help me out and give me advice. Thank you.
Plus I only have limited time because I’m raising a new rooster to join the flock since I brought new chicks.

Multiple males create an environment of competition.
You only need 1 male for 19 hens if hatching fertility is your goal.
Also, some birds have weak/brittle feathers and are easily broken from mating.
You might have some picking going on too.
